ATPL(A)
theory
100% online.

Professional-level training to build a solid theoretical foundation. Taught by active commercial pilots, with no travel required and fully adapted to your lifestyle.

About us

Created by pilots,
for pilots.

EasyATPL was founded by three friends who spotted a clear gap in traditional training: theory took a back seat to flight hours. For a pilot, a solid theoretical foundation is key throughout their entire career.

✈
Founders with real-world experience
We were founded by pilots who experienced the limitations of the traditional system first-hand and wanted to build something better.
  • A methodology focused on genuine understanding, not memorisation
  • Thorough preparation for the official EASA exams
  • An industry perspective from day one of training
🛡
ATO approved in 2026
One of the first Approved Training Organisations in Europe to offer ATPL(A) theory entirely online.
  • Full compliance with current EASA regulations
  • ATO certificate valid for exams with any European authority
  • Ongoing monitoring and a dedicated personal tutor
The process

How the course works

A process designed to maximise understanding and ensure you are ready for the official exams, at your own pace.

01
Access to the study platform Content structured by subject and topic. Study each ATPL module with up-to-date material, progress tests and exam-style question practice.
02
Revision classes with commercial pilots Once you complete the minimum platform hours, you gain access to revision video classes led by active pilots. Consolidate the essentials and get your questions answered.
03
Internal ATO exams Completion of the progress-check exams required by EASA regulations, with ongoing monitoring by the EasyATPL team.
04
Certificate and official exams Issue of the ATO certificate that qualifies you to sit the exams with any aviation authority in Europe. You choose where to take them.
Planning

How long will it take?

The duration depends entirely on your pace. EASA sets a minimum of 590 hours on the platform, plus the time for video classes and internal exams.

Intensive pace
~90 days
With full availability of roughly 8 hours a day. An optimistic scenario for those who can study full-time.
Entry requirement To enrol, you must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid Private Pilot Licence (PPL). The licence does not have to be issued by an EASA authority.
