Legal Notice and Terms of Use

The email above is also the single point of contact for authorities and for users of the site, for the purposes of Articles 11 and 12 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (Digital Services Act). Spanish and English are accepted.

2. What Pilot Network is

Pilot Network provides resources, information and support to trainee pilots and aviation professionals in Spain and Europe. It has two parts:

2.1 The free part

• Provide access to pilot and cabin crew communities through Telegram.
• Publish information and links to flight schools, simulator centres and companies in the sector.
• Share discounts negotiated with partner companies, without providing the discounted service.
• Collect and publish job postings from the sector, always handled on the company's own site.
• Share other pilots' experiences, study material and free tools.

2.2 Free use and future services

Using the site is free. Today, everything above is offered at no cost to the people who use it. Where a page is published in collaboration with a company, it says so (section 9.4).

The owner may introduce paid services or features in the future, new ones or ones that extend the current ones. If so: they will be announced in advance on the site and, to account holders, by email; they will have their own terms, which must be expressly accepted before anything is purchased; and you will never be charged for anything you have not purchased yourself, nor retroactively for what you have already used.

Running the site, reviewing what is published and protecting it from abuse has a real cost. Being able to offer some paid services is what keeps the project going and keeps most of what is here free.

2.3 What Pilot Network is not

• Training that does not lead to an officially recognised qualification. It is not an approved (ATO) or declared (DTO) training organisation, and what it offers does not count towards licences, ratings or any EASA or AESA requirement.
• It is not a recruitment agency: it does not act as an intermediary in hiring and takes no part in airlines' selection processes.
• It is independent: it does not belong to, or act on behalf of, any airline, school, manufacturer or aviation authority, and no airline sponsors it or decides what is published. Some pages are published in collaboration with companies in the sector and say so (section 9.4); that collaboration gives nobody control over the rest of the site. Third-party names and trademarks are used only to identify them.

3. Access to the site

Access to the site is free and most content can be read without registering. Browsing the site means accepting this legal notice.

Some features do require an account:

• Publishing feedback (you can do it as "Anonymous", see section 5).
• Reading the two most recent feedbacks for each airline in full. Without an account you can read the start of the most recent one; the rest are requested (next point).
• Requesting an airline's feedback as a PDF, with its attached files. Pilot Network reviews each request and, if approved, the documents arrive by email once you accept their terms of use (section 5.7). There is no direct download.
• Generating a CV without a watermark.
• Accessing the study material Drive.

These are resources other pilots contributed. Asking for an account means someone is responsible for what is published, prevents automated bulk downloading, shows which material is genuinely used, and makes it possible to notify people when something is withdrawn or updated.

4. Your account

By registering you accept these terms, which form the contract between you and the owner. You register with your email and a password (sign-in with Google is not enabled today) and, in doing so, you confirm you are 16 or older.

4.1 Your obligations

• Provide a real email address and keep it current, as it is the only way to recover access.
• Keep your password safe. It is personal: do not share it or transfer your account.
• Tell us as soon as you suspect someone has got into your account.
• Hold only one account per person.

4.2 Suspension and closure

The owner may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, giving notice by email and explaining why, unless the severity or a legal obligation requires acting sooner. If you think it is a mistake, reply to that email and it will be reviewed.

Accounts inactive for more than three years are closed, after an email giving 30 days' notice.

4.3 Leaving

You can delete your account from your profile at any time, without giving reasons. Deletion erases your data as described in the Privacy Policy. Feedback you have published stays published under the licence in section 5: deleting the account deletes the link to it, and the feedback remains with nobody identifiable behind it. If you also want the name or nickname you used removed from any of it, write with the airline and the approximate date, and it becomes "Anonymous".

4.4 Free account

The account and the site's resources are free and provided "as is", with no guarantee of continued availability; see the limits in section 9.

4.5 What you save in your account

Your professional profile, your saved CVs (up to 3), your saved jobs and your download history are written or generated by you. By saving them:

• You are responsible for them being true and yours. Pilot Network does not check your licences, hours, ratings or experience, and is not liable for what you state to a company with a CV generated here.
• Save only your own data. Do not include other people's data (referees with their phone number, for example) without their permission.
• If you include health data, such as your medical class, that is your choice and you are asked for explicit consent before it is saved (see the Privacy Policy, 2.4).
• Keep your own copy of anything important: download your CVs as PDF. What you delete, or what is deleted when you close your account, cannot be recovered.

4.6 Your @handle

To publish you need an @handle, unique on Pilot Network: nobody else can have the same one or one too similar to it. Handles that imitate another person, Pilot Network or an airline, or that are offensive, are not allowed, and the owner may withdraw one that breaches this. It can be changed once every 30 days; the previous one stays blocked for 6 months so nobody can impersonate you, and during that time a record is kept of which account had it. Only you can sign with your @handle.

5. What you post

5.1 With your account, and anonymously if you wish

To publish feedback, a comment or a file on this site you need an account. You choose the name or nickname it appears under, or you can publish it as "Anonymous". Either way, the account that published it is recorded and only Pilot Network's administration sees it: it is not published, not shown to other users or to airlines, and would only be disclosed to a third party if the law requires it (for example, a court order).

5.2 The licence you grant

By publishing, you grant the owner a royalty-free, non-exclusive, worldwide, irrevocable licence for the full term of the rights to reproduce, distribute, communicate to the public and make available what you post, on the site and in any format or medium (including the PDF, Word or compilation documents the site lets people download), directly or through the providers that run the site, and in any of the access modes the site offers. It includes the right to edit it: correct, summarise, translate, format, remove personal data or anonymise it, and combine it with other content.

The licence does not end if you delete your account or ask for your name to be removed: the content may stay published. The owner may transfer it to whoever succeeds them in running the site. As it is non-exclusive, you can keep using your own text wherever you like. And you remain its author: the moral rights the law treats as inalienable are not affected.

This licence applies to content published from 17 October 2026. Content published earlier keeps the licence in force at the time (non-exclusive, royalty-free and revocable: you can ask for it to be taken down).

5.3 What you guarantee and what you are responsible for

Whoever publishes is responsible for what they publish. By doing so, you confirm that:

• The content is yours or you have the right to share it and to grant the licence above.
• It includes no third-party content protected by copyright or other rights (a company's manuals and documentation, exam questions or material, pages from books or courses, other people's photos), and does not breach confidentiality agreements with your company.
• It does not include other people's personal data (names of instructors, examiners or colleagues).
• It does not contain medical or psychological reports, aptitude test results or any other health data — yours or anyone else's.
• You are 16 or older.

If content infringing third-party rights is detected or reported, it is deleted, without prior notice, and the account that published it may be suspended (section 4.2). If a third party makes a claim against the owner over something you published in breach of the above, you will be liable to them and to the owner for the damage and costs caused.

5.4 Your personal data, always within your reach

At any time, and without giving a reason, you can ask for your name or nickname to be removed from what you published (it becomes "Anonymous") and for the link to your account to be deleted. It is your right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR) and it is always honoured; the content, anonymised, may stay published under the licence. If you have another reason for it to be removed entirely, write and it will be considered case by case.

5.5 Published without prior review

Feedback is published instantly, without prior review. The owner may edit or withdraw content that breaches the above, that is out of date, or that could harm someone. There is no obligation to review everything in advance, but there is an obligation to act diligently as soon as the owner becomes aware that something is unlawful or infringes a third party's rights (Art. 16 LSSI).

5.6 How to ask for something to be taken down

If some content affects you — because it names you, because it is yours, or because you believe it is unlawful — write to pilotnetworkspain@gmail.com with: the page address or the airline and date of the feedback, which part it is, and why it should be removed. You do not need an account. You will get an answer within five working days at most and, if it contains third parties' personal data or health data, it is taken down immediately while it is reviewed.

Every notice is reviewed by a person, not by an automated system. If content is removed or restricted, whoever posted it — at their account email, if they have one — and whoever sent the notice are told, with the reason and how to ask for the decision to be reviewed; and if content suggests a criminal offence threatening someone's life or safety, it is reported to the authorities (Arts. 16 to 18 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065, Digital Services Act).

5.7 The documents you receive or download

Feedback and the files attached to it were shared by another pilot with the community for your personal preparation. By receiving or downloading them you accept that:

• They come watermarked with your email, a code tied to your account and the date, on every page, with a cover page summarising these terms. An unwatermarked copy cannot be requested.
• You may not publish, forward, upload to groups or social networks, sell or pass them on, nor remove or alter the watermark. They are for you.
• If a document turns up outside the site, the code identifies the account that downloaded it. Pilot Network will close that account and may claim the damage caused (Art. 1101 of the Spanish Civil Code) and bring the applicable civil and criminal actions for its rights over the database and those of the document's author (Arts. 17 to 21, 133 to 137 and 138 to 141 of the Spanish Intellectual Property Act; Art. 270 of the Spanish Criminal Code).

6. CV builder

The CV templates are the owner's work and are offered free of charge for personal use: you may generate your CV, print it and send it to any companies you wish.

Without an account, the PDF carries a Pilot Network watermark. With a verified account, it comes out clean. The watermark is applied on the server as the document is composed, not in the browser.

The following are not permitted:

• Altering, cropping or removing the watermark from a document generated without an account.
• Redistributing the templates, selling them or building them into another service.
• Automating bulk document generation.

The content you write into your CV is yours and no rights over it are claimed. What is protected is the template design, not your data.

My saved CVs. With an account you can save up to 3 CVs to edit and download them from any device. It is a convenience, not a guaranteed archive: section 4.5 applies. The builder helps you format your information; it does not guarantee that a company will accept that format nor replace the requirements of any selection process.

7. Prohibited uses

In using the site you agree not to:

• Bulk-download the content automatically (scraping, bots, systematic data extraction).
• Attempt to access areas, accounts or data that are not yours.
• Circumvent technical security measures, usage limits or registration.
• Overload the service or interfere with its operation.
• Post unlawful, defamatory or discriminatory content, or content infringing third-party rights.
• Impersonate another person, a company or the owner.
• Use the site or its content commercially without written authorisation.

Finding a security flaw is not a prohibited use: it is a favour. If you find one, write to pilotnetworkspain@gmail.com before making it public, and without accessing other people's data beyond what is strictly needed to demonstrate it. It is appreciated and it gets answered.

8. Intellectual property

The texts, images, logos, graphics, design, code and structure of the site are owned by the owner or by third parties who have authorised their use, and are protected by Spanish Royal Legislative Decree 1/1996 (Intellectual Property Act) and by applicable international legislation.

The collection of feedback, jobs and resources, its selection and its arrangement form a database belonging to the owner, also protected by the database maker's specific right (Arts. 133 et seq. of the Spanish Intellectual Property Act), regardless of each author's rights over their own text.

Reproduction in whole or in part, distribution and public communication without written authorisation are prohibited. "Pilot Network" and its logos are distinctive signs of the owner.

You may, without asking: link to any page of the site, quote short extracts citing the source, and use the study material and templates for your own training.

If you believe any content on the site infringes your rights, write to pilotnetworkspain@gmail.com stating which content it is, where it is and what your claim is based on. It will be reviewed and, if appropriate, removed.

9. Limits of liability

9.1 Our own content

We try to keep information current and correct, but its accuracy and currency are not guaranteed. Aviation regulations, company requirements and school prices change. Always check the official source before making a decision — AESA, EASA, the school or the airline — and do not rely solely on what you read here.

9.2 Experiences shared by other users

Flight experiences and feedback are the personal accounts of whoever wrote them. They are not official information and have not been verified by the owner or by the companies mentioned. They reflect one specific process at one specific moment and may be out of date.

9.3 Job postings and schools

Postings are collected from public sources and linked back to their origin. The owner takes no part in the selection process, does not guarantee that a posting is still open, and is not answerable for the terms a company offers.

9.4 Partner company discounts

Discounts are offered by third-party companies. The owner acts as an informational intermediary: it does not provide the service and is not answerable for its quality, final price or suitability. Any complaint should be addressed to the company providing the service.

Partner companies. The discounts, and some school and service pages, are published in collaboration with the company concerned, and say so at the top, before the content: discount pages with a transparency notice and the others with the label "In collaboration". Discount links carry a Pilot Network code so the company knows you came from here and applies your discount; using them costs you nothing extra. The collaboration does not change what is said about each company or give anyone control over the rest of the site.

9.5 Availability

The site is not guaranteed to be continuously available or error-free. There may be outages for maintenance, provider failures or causes beyond our control.

9.6 Selection processes

The information and preparation on selection processes that Pilot Network offers are an obligation of means, not of result: they do not guarantee passing any interview, assessment or exam, or getting a job. What is said about each selection process is based on public information and candidates' experiences, may change without notice, and does not come from any airline's confidential information.

9.7 What you save and what you download

Your data is looked after with the provider's backups and access restricted to you, but indefinite retention is not guaranteed: keep your own copy of your CVs and documents. "Download again" gives you the current version of each file, which may have changed or been withdrawn since your last download. Study material linked on third-party services (such as Google Drive) depends on them and may change or stop being available.

9.8 Scope

These limitations apply to the extent permitted by law. They do not limit liability for wilful misconduct, gross negligence, or — towards consumers — anything consumer legislation declares cannot be waived.

10. Links

The site links to third-party websites — schools, companies, Telegram, social networks. The owner does not control those sites and is not answerable for their content, their operation or their data processing. Clicking an external link takes you off this site.

Anyone may link to Pilot Network without asking. Linking implies no relationship between the parties and no approval of the linking site's content. The owner may request removal of a link that suggests a relationship that does not exist or that harms its reputation.

11. Minors

You must be 16 or older to create an account or publish feedback. It is the GDPR default (Art. 8) and the age Spain is legislating to replace the 14 of Art. 7 of Organic Law 3/2018. If an account or content from someone under 16 is detected, it is deleted.

The site's content is suitable for any age, but it is aimed at people training as pilots or working in the sector.

12. Applicable law

This legal notice is governed by Spanish law, in particular:

• Law 34/2002 on information society services (LSSI-CE).
• Royal Legislative Decree 1/1996, Intellectual Property Act.
• Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
• Organic Law 3/2018 on Data Protection and the guarantee of digital rights.
• Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 on Consumers and Users, where applicable.
• Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (Digital Services Act), as regards content posted by users.

For any dispute, the parties submit to the Courts and Tribunals of Madrid. If you are a consumer, this does not affect you: you may go to the courts of your own domicile, as consumer legislation entitles you to.

13. Changes

The owner may amend this legal notice. The date at the top shows the last revision and the site always holds the version in force.

If you have an account and a change affects your terms of use, you will be emailed reasonably in advance. If you disagree, you can delete your account; continuing to use it after the change takes effect means accepting it.
